Podcasts

Sharing her voice to elevate transformation is a seasoned skill for Nienke. The Phoenix Frequencies Podcast series is her true soul expression. In the past, she recorded podcasts for other organisations, but in 2023, she followed her heart and started her own. Not only based on her personal experience, but she also interviews guests on the podcast show who have undergone their own transformations. Other people who pheonixed, to use that work as a verb.
In the first year, she published weekly; later on, she published when a topic or life event occurred that was worth transitioning to a podcast.
In October 2025, she reached the milestone of 80 podcasts, and the journey will continue!
You can find the Phoenix Frequencies Podcast series on Spotify, Apple Podcast, PodcastAddict and many more. Alternatively, you can visit the Buzzsprout webpage to find them all.

The voice of transformation

The Phoenix Frequencies podcasts have a wide variety of topics. Usually, a life event of Nienke sparks the idea, and the voice comes out.
The voice of transformation!
The podcasts are reasonably short, around 8-10 minutes. With a guest interview with Phoenix, they are a little longer.
The feedback she receives is often: These episodes are deep; I really want to listen without multitasking to grasp their depth.
Sometimes people listen to them based on the topic, or revisit it as something happens in their life that they can relate to.

Examples

Nienke doesn’t hesitate to be personal and vulnerable. e.g. in the episodes of the death of her husband Piet in the Mirror of Reacting.
Or how to relate to her mother after she passed away in 2024, as described in ‘My Mother’s Ring Unchained’. Just to share a few examples.
Besides that view in her personal life, another area that shows up more often is: behavioural patterns Nienke sees in herself or others. As you can listen to in the episodes Givers and pleasers, receivers and takers frequencies, The bravest thing to ask, Get yourself out of Pity City, Are you a canary in a coal mine? and From Ghosting to hosting.

Photo’s

Every episode features a picture either created on Canva using images taken by Nienke during her nature walks or one that came to her creative mind.
